Fireplace Transformation

This homeowner wanted to transform this room by refacing the fireplace.  The outdated mantel was replaced with a beautiful custom-ordered wood beam mantel.  The red brick was removed and resurfaced with a tasteful limestone and the hearth was given a much needed facelift.

The homeowner did a great job picking tectures and colors that compliment the room.  Custom-made cabinets along with bookshelves now flank the fireplace.  

This renovation not only improved the aesthetics of the room but also created a cozy place to read a good book, knit, quilt or sit and relax after a busy day.
